About Us

Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Early College is located on the Elizabeth City campus of College of The Albemarle and located on the second floor of Building C.  Our doors first opened in August 2017 and we celebrated our first graduating class in 2021!  Since then, we have graduated three more classes of Early College students.

Students interested in ECPEC are required to complete an application process and be accepted in order to attend.

Our program is designed for students who want or need a challenge, students who would be first-generation college graduates, or students willing to work in order to reach their goals.

At ECP Early College, we prepare our students to meet the challenges of whatever career they choose.

At ECP Early College, our students have the opportunity to earn an associate degree while  still in high school and our campus offers them a wide variety of degrees, certifications, and programs to choose from.  Whether a student wants to continue their education at a 4‑year college/university or start their career after graduation, there is a path here at ECPEC.

At ECP Early College, we will provide our students with an environment that is challenging and supportive, a curriculum designed to help students grow in the classroom and as a person, as well as many opportunities to explore, get involved, and to stay connected.
